memory_forget
Forget (tombstone) a knowledge entry you may write. Needs a short reason; the row is kept for managers, hidden from search. Scratch state that overwrites belongs in remember/recall; durable knowledge with history and search belongs here. Results arrive as {org, dataTrust:"untrusted", notice, data}; errors as {org, error}. Never store a secret: a secret-shaped title or body is refused whole (422 secret_in_memory).

memory_purge
Permanently delete a knowledge entry AND every earlier or later version of it (text and meaning vectors). Unlike memory_forget nothing is kept. A persona key purges its own persona notes only; an org admin purges any. Purging an id that is already gone answers purged:false. Replace a knowledge entry with a corrected one. The old entry stays as history. expectedSha is the bodySha256 you last read; a different current value is 409 (re-read, then retry). memory_write
Store one durable piece of knowledge (a fact, decision, preference, link or how-to) for this organization. Send a clientRequestId when you might retry: the same request returns the first entry. decision/preference need reviewAfter. A link stores sourceKind+sourceId, never a copy of the source text.
